I still remember the elocution day at school when I was supposed to give a speech in front of everyone in the assembly. The very first thought of it was nerve-racking indeed, but then with dad’s dose of confidence and trust, the speech went great! And then there he stood out in the crowd with a small pride of my small triumph. He is the one- daddy divine!

Did you tell this Father’s Day how special he is or did you miss it just like me? They used to call me the apple of my daddy’s eyes, but as a child grows old lot of things do come in between the eye-candy and the eye. Well, I confess I missed it but I want to make up for it by letting him know how special he has been all my life and no work or friends can come between us.

There needs to be no ocassion to say I care, but with Father’s Day gone, I still want to make up for the warmth of the very day by letting him know that I care.
