Hello everyone,

Let me tell you about something that happened to me about 3 months ago.

My cousin. She is in the 6 grade. I decided to hand over my old mobile phone to her. I show her and explain to her all the different features on the phone. Java, Bluetooth, GPRS etc.etc.etc…She would probably not need , understand nor use any of them but I still show them to her.

Well then on Monday, my cousin goes with her brother to the cinema. But I don’t know that she is at the cinema so I give her a call. Her phone rings and of course it’s me.

I was sitting in front of the TV the other day and decided to clean out my DVD , CD, and, video cassette collection. There were cassettes I had collected dating back 13 years! Most of them were my favorite movies. I enjoyed watching some of them again.

I also found videos of the times when I was young and my family had gone on trips to places I didn’t even recognize in the video. It reminded me of the old times. The video rekindled something inside me that I had almost lost. It made me happy for the warmth my father and mother provides me.

Now that mother’s day is coming up, I am planning to do something special for her. I want to show her that I still love her like I used to.

I have a few things in mind and I am going to share it with you:

• Watch the movie “Mother India”. It’s a treat to watch the legendary Nargis battle against hardships like all our mothers do. Maybe you could get hold of them in your video rental store.
• Give a mother’s day card. It’s the best way to show you care. But I don’t like to just buy a card off the shelf from Archies and give it to my mother. They are after all just pieces of paper anyone can buy provided they have the money. Maybe a warm hug along with the card would be nice.
• If you are artistic draw something for her or cook something special for her to show her you care for her. You can’t get this off some store even for a million bucks.
• Buy her presents and food that she likes. On our birthdays when I was young, that’s what my mother did for me and that’s what I am going to do for her now.

If you have read my “I’m back” email then you already know that I’m changing the format of the newsletter.

I actually wanted to do this quite few months ago but I never pulled the trigger because it would have taken a lot of time on my part. I think I hadn’t done much justice with all those newsletters as I couldn’t contribute that much time as it deserves. It would have been much better if I could actually implement what I had imagined.

So… in order to solve this problem we have a new team member “Anuj Gurubacharya” who will handle the newsletters. I’m sure he will be delivering much better newsletters than the past as he will be putting a huge chunk of time in the newsletter alone.

So what‘s the new format will look like?

If you have read “I’m back” newsletter on the SMSFunOnline website then you have already tasted how the new newsletter will look like.

Previously the newsletter was just one way. I send the newsletter and you reply to me. There’s no way all the subscribers know each other or comment about the newsletters publicly.

But in this new format you are going to have much more fun:

This is the most personal email I have ever sent. It’s quite long but make sure to read this up to the end to see what’s going on at my side and what new things you are going to see soon at our websites.

Well, I was quite busy in other projects I have been working on. I seriously wanted to put more time on SMSFunOnline and JokesDuniya but it didn’t worked the way I thought.

By the way, thanks to all of you who had sent me emails asking about the newsletters. I think I would have taken more time to get back if I had not received those emails. That’s what pulled me off from my other projects to work more on this one.

I had spent my entire past week on improving the way things work at SMSFunOnline and JokesDuniya. Be prepared to have new improved experience in our websites.

Ocean of emails

As SMSFunOnline and JokesDuniya getting popular, I’m like swimming in the ocean of emails. I get lots of forwarded emails, spams, question emails, thanks emails and every kind of emails.

I got into the point where I couldn’t handle the emails anymore. It’s not that I don’t like receiving emails from my subscribers but it was going more and more difficult to manage all those emails. I actually like receiving emails and I make sure to read each and every one of it but unfortunately I can’t reply all of them.

If you have ever emailed me then you might have noticed that my replies were coming after a week, two weeks or even after a couple of months. I know I should be faster but with so many emails coming and handling other stuffs as well, I was doing the best as I can.

Now, it won’t happen anymore. Your all comments and questions will be handled in a much better way.
